Job Summary
This role serves as a key technical resource responsible for configuring and maintaining scalable products to support Bain’s External Talent Function (ETF). You’ll provide customer support, drive process improvements, and deliver comprehensive documentation, sitting at the intersection of product management and technical operations.
Your focus will be on optimizing the product experience through collaboration with product teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Key objectives include:
- Eliciting and implementing technical solutions aligned with the product roadmap
- Addressing customer and team support needs
- Enhancing operational efficiency via automation and process improvements
Expected outcomes include:
- Reliable application performance
- Robust troubleshooting capabilities
- Effective cross-team collaboration
- Well-documented technical resources to support product implementations and enhancements
What You Will Do
Product Management & Delivery (50%)
- Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into product enhancements/requests
- Collaborate on pilots, customer communication, and training, where appropriate
- Track and analyze key metrics, distilling them into critical insights and actionable findings
- Configure technical solutions at scale for the product roadmap, testing and iterating based on customer feedback
- Work with vendor technical/support teams to optimize Bain’s experience with the product, submit feature requests, and manage bugs

Product Maintenance & Customer Support (30%)
- Monitor application health, reporting trends and recommending potential root causes
- Provide second-level advanced troubleshooting support for local and regional TSG teams
- Demonstrate advanced technical/product knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Act as the main technical support contact for scaled pilots
Drive Process Improvements (10%)
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation/scripting for process enhancements
Documentation (10%)
- Produce technical documentation and KB articles to support product pilots, upgrades, and enhancements
About You
- 3–5 years of experience, with Avature or systems-related experience preferred
- Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues
- Strong analytical skills to optimize workflows and improve team efficiency through automation; familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages desirable
- Exceptional communication skills to elicit requirements and deliver clear updates to stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex technical processes into user-friendly documentation
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Background in solving complex issues in software tools and turning findings into actionable next steps
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- End User Support & Troubleshooting
- Configuration Enhancements & Updates
- Evaluations & Reporting
- *Managed Service Provider

- Experience in participant vendor product evaluation, selection, and implementation processes, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, solution comparison, and deployment support
