AI Connect are partnering with a major UK bank to help them appoint a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a newly established Data Products capability within Private Banking & Wealth Management.

This is an exciting opportunity to help build the canonical and semantic data layers that underpin Analytics, AI, reporting and self-service capabilities across the business. You'll play a key role in creating trusted, reusable data products that enable faster, more consistent decision making across the organisation.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop canonical data models that standardise core wealth entities such as Accounts, Deposits and Customers across multiple systems.
  • Build semantic data models that provide consistent business definitions and metrics for dashboards, APIs and downstream data products.
  • Develop trusted, governed data products that are reusable, discoverable and consumed confidently across the business.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects, Analytics Engineers and Software Engineers to shape the firm's next-generation data platform.
  • Implement data quality standards, governance controls and documentation to ensure data remains accurate, trusted and compliant.
  • Contribute to the design of a scalable cloud-based data ecosystem supporting Analytics, AI and self-service reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
