Senior Analytics Engineer
Location: Remote (2 days a month in office)
Salary: £75,000 to £85,000 plus 10% bonus
An established UK insurtech is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their data platform. Growing data and AI function, real investment behind it, and plenty of GenAI work in flight.
The role
You'll work alongside data and AI engineers, scientists, analysts and architects, designing and delivering scalable data products, feeding into ML and GenAI use cases, and setting the technical bar across the wider community. A role for someone ready to lead on the harder modelling and standards work.

Tech stack
- Snowflake or Databricks on AWS
- dbt
- Python, PySpark, SQL
- Airflow
- Git, Jenkins
What we're looking for
- Deep hands on dbt experience, knowing the ins and outs
- Strong end to end modelling and performance optimisation experience
- Comfortable across a modern cloud data platform (Snowflake or Databricks)
- Advanced SQL, strong Python and PySpark
- Experience with CI/CD, version control and orchestration
- Comfortable setting the technical bar and doing it properly
