Senior Analytics Engineer – ThoughtSpot & Snowflake

Contract | Up to £500 per day | Outside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to play a key role in a major data and analytics transformation.

You’ll help accelerate the move to a modern, AI-powered analytics platform built around ThoughtSpot and Snowflake. This is a hands-on role where you’ll create trusted semantic models, migrate existing Power BI reporting and enable teams across the business to access accurate, intuitive and genuinely useful insights.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and building scalable semantic models across ThoughtSpot and Snowflake
  • Developing and optimising Snowflake data models for reporting and AI use cases
  • Translating existing Power BI reports, DAX and business logic into the new platform
  • Creating high-quality ThoughtSpot Liveboards, visualisations and self-service analytics
  • Enriching models with business definitions, context and metadata to improve the accuracy of AI-generated insights
  • Working with technical teams and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into scalable solutions
  • Establishing modelling standards, governance and best practices
  • Supporting the wider rollout and adoption of ThoughtSpot across the organisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
