Senior Android Developer – Hybrid Manchester (£400/day Inside IR35)
We’re looking for experienced Mobile Engineers (Android) to help design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications used by millions of users worldwide. This is an opportunity to go beyond simply delivering features—you’ll shape products, influence technical direction, and drive innovation within a collaborative, high-performing team.
Position Details
💰 Rate: Upto £400 per day Inside IR35 📍 Location: Hybrid (2 days a week near Manchester) 📅 Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract (with possibility of extension)
💼 The Role
You’ll join a cross-functional product team, working alongside engineers, designers, and product managers, to deliver impactful user experiences and scalable technical solutions.

We’re looking for engineers who:

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Android applications
- Collaborating closely with product and design teams to shape solutions
- Contributing to technical design, planning, and estimation
- Supporting applications throughout their full lifecycle (build → release → production)
- Driving modern engineering practices in a remote-first, agile environment
✅ Key Technical Requirements
- Proficient in Kotlin with extensive experience in native Android development
- Proven Jetpack Compose expertise
- Deep knowledge of modern Android architecture patterns and state management
- Experience with large-scale, production-grade mobile applications
- Strong testing mindset (unit testing, UI testing, automation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional agile teams
- Comfortable working closely with product and design to ensure user-centric outcomes
