Senior Animator – Farm Heroes Saga

About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Senior Animator to bring Farm Heroes Saga to life through expressive, high-quality gameplay animation and visual feedback. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Art, Design, and Engineering teams to create satisfying gameplay moments, polished player experiences, and dynamic visual storytelling for a global audience.
This position blends asset creation, animation craft, in-engine implementation, and creative problem-solving. You’ll contribute end-to-end, from concept to integration, ensuring animations enhance gameplay feel, clarity, and personality—while balancing quality, performance, and production needs.

Your Role in Our Kingdom
- Deliver high-quality animations that align with game vision and player experience.
- Wear the role of animation lead—owning expressive, visually polished animations for characters, gameplay, and UI.
- Maintain pipeline consistency through animation standards, best practices, and scalable workflows.
- Collaborate with Tech Art & Engineering to optimise Unity implementation and mobile performance.
- Stay ahead of animation trends, tools, and industry practices to ensure our storytelling remains innovative, competitive, and joyful.

What We’re Looking For
Core Skills & Experience
- Senior Animator with extensive experience in games or interactive media, demonstrating a strong portfolio of expressive, high-quality work.
- Deep knowledge of how animation serves gameplay clarity, smoothness, and player enjoyment.
- Proficient in 2D tools, particularly Spine (or similar), with optimisation experience for mobile platforms.
- Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator expertise for asset creation and animation preparation.
- Hands-on experience with UI and player feedback animation, with a strong grasp of:
- Motion timing
- Readability
- Enhancing user experience through animation
- Experience with vector art and workflows.
- Solid Unity (or comparable engine) knowledge, including:
- Implementation best practices
- Performance and mobile optimisation
- Familiarity with VFX/particle systems and rigging fundamentals.
- Ability to work in cartoony/casual styles, adapting tone and motion language for different audiences and contexts.
- Strong collaborative mindset, with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive attitude with a passion for craft excellence and continuous learning.

Bonus Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with After Effects (or similar) for motion concepts.
- Background in 3D animation workflows and tools.
- Previous work in live game environments.
Portfolio submission is mandatory to showcase all aspects of your skills.
