About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead a major telecommunications transformation programme for one of our clients.
This high-impact role involves managing a small team to accelerate the convergence and automation of network rollout tooling, collaborating closely with transformation and OSS/BSS teams to define future-state solutions.
Key activities include business requirements capture, derivative architectural strategy, and fostering cross-team alignment. Candidates must exhibit industry leadership, consultative expertise, and the ability to drive automation and innovation through a strategic tooling lens.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small, multi-disciplinary team of client and consultancy resources, fostering collaboration across transformation and OSS/BSS.
- Assess and enhance the OSS/BSS tooling ecosystem for network rollout, operational workflows, and deployment efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into strategic OSS solutions, addressing current and future-scale challenges.
- Facilitate leader-led stakeholder workshops to align technology roadmaps and gather insights from transformation and operational teams.
- Champion automation initiatives, process overhauls, and innovations in tooling automation.
- Provide thought leadership, leveraging practical experience to guide industry trends in OSS, network inflexibility, and technical evolution.
- Collaborate with OSS teams to ensure solution alignment with broader client technology roadmaps and ecosystem vision.

Required Skills & Experience
- Subject-Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of telecommunications, OSS/BSS architecture, network infrastructure, and operational workflows.
- Programme Delivery: Proven transformation experience in OSS automation, network rollout optimisation, and process improvements.
- Technical Leadership: Leading architectural discussions, frameworks, and stakeholder decision-making.
- Deliberative Mindset: Accuracy in consultation with industry best practices, and ability to advise on innovative, scalable solutions.
- Social Acumen: Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management—bridging technical and business perspectives.
- Preferred Insights: Three+ years in either Tier 1 telecommunications consultancies or across key client engagement scope.
