An established design practice is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join its team to take a leading role in the delivery of an aviation project, working on the refurbishment and enhancement of passenger facilities within a major airport environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects through RIBA Stages 4–5, overseeing technical development, coordinating project teams, and supporting delivery through construction. While aviation experience would be advantageous, candidates with experience delivering complex public sector, transport, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or other highly serviced projects will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through RIBA Stages 4–5, ensuring high-quality technical delivery.
- Manage and mentor project teams, providing direction and support throughout the design and construction process.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve programme and project objectives.
- Produce and review detailed technical packages and construction information.
- Attend site meetings, monitor construction progress, and resolve technical issues during delivery.
- Maintain project quality, programme, and compliance requirements

Requirements
- The right to live and work in the UK
- Qualified Architect with ARB registration
- At least 5 years post Part III experience
- Proven experience delivering projects through technical design and construction stages
- Strong construction and site-based experience
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage project teams
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Aviation experience is highly desirable but not essential
