Are you a dynamic Senior Architect with an innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking to gain experience across a range of global projects? Benoy’s London Studio is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Architect to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Senior Architect, you will manage international large-scale projects in the mixed-use sector in the concept stage.
What we’re looking for:
- You are a talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking.
- You have experience in successfully delivering large-scale international projects through early design stages.
- You have experience managing small teams.
- You have strong organisational and supervisory skills, you have a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results.
- You are a strong communicator, you can effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
- You are highly proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline, such as Revit and Rhino.
- You are degree-qualified in a related design field or hold equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design/Technical Expertise
- Delivers high-quality design and/or technical work, engaging others with their creative and innovative thinking.
Project Management
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
- Takes responsibility for quality control and supervision of project deliverables.
- Coordinates and integrates the work of external contractors, suppliers and professionals.

Team Management

- Ability to work effectively with others to develop and resolve project issues.
- Ability to make complex decisions, weighing up a range of factors and implications.
- Builds a network across the business and seeks leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.
Client Relationships
- Develops effective relationships with clients and consultants.
- Operates independently in daily engagement with clients and stakeholders.
- Provides support to senior team members with key client presentations and represent Benoy in meetings as required.
Budget Control
- Takes responsibility for aspects of the project budget and liaises with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
- Seeks to develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and considers how project fees are maximised without threat to client relationship and repeat work.
