A well-established and expanding residential property developer is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to join its in-house technical team based in Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to play a pivotal role in the technical development and delivery of a wide range of residential projects, from high-quality housing developments to bespoke luxury homes. Working closely with the land, planning, design, and construction teams, you will oversee the technical aspects of projects from planning approval through to completion, ensuring designs are practical, compliant, and ready for construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and working information to a high standard.
  • Develop and coordinate technical solutions that meet design intent, programme requirements, and buildability objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate external consultants, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of project information.
  • Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, NHBC standards, planning conditions, and relevant legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to support the successful delivery of residential developments.
  • Provide technical support throughout the construction phase, responding to site queries and resolving construction-related issues.
  • Attend project meetings and act as the key technical contact throughout the delivery process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
