The Role

As an Architectural Technologist, you won’t just be "drawing"— you will be the technical backbone of our projects. You will collaborate closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams to bring complex designs to life through precise construction packages and innovative detail solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Delivery: Prepare and coordinate comprehensive design, production, and construction information.
  • Specification & Detail: Produce and advise on material selection, specifications (NBS Chorus), and detailed design solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to current Building Regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients and statutory authorities to secure approvals.
  • Project Management: Manage tasks independently while contributing to a high performing multidisciplinary team.

What We’re Looking For

We value technologists who are passionate about the "how" and "why" of building.

  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of technical design and the UK construction process.
  • Software Proficiency: Power-user status in Revit, AutoCAD, NBS Chorus, and BIM360.
  • Communication: Articulate written and oral skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professionalism: A proactive approach to CPD and a commitment to the CIAT Code of Conduct.
  • Mindset: A "can-do" attitude, a flexible approach to travel, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
