Senior Artist

Location: Remote Contract: Full-time (6 months initially with a view to be extended or made permanent)

About Fusebox Games

At Fusebox Games, we create world-leading choice-based narrative mobile games enjoyed by millions of players around the globe. Since launching in 2016, we've become a leader in interactive narrative experiences through globally recognised licensed IPs and original stories.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Artist who has previous management experience to help mentor a team of artists and drive the visual quality of our games. This role is ideal for someone who combines exceptional artistic ability with strong creative judgement, management skills, and a passion for raising quality across an entire project.

As a Senior Artist, you'll take ownership of high-impact artwork, influence the visual direction of our games, mentor other artists, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver engaging player experiences.

The Role

As a Senior Artist, you'll be responsible for creating and directing high-quality visual assets while championing artistic excellence across the project. You'll play a key role in defining visual standards, improving workflows, supporting external partners, and helping develop the wider art team.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Art, Product, Narrative, Design, and Production to ensure our games deliver a consistently high-quality visual experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Artistic Ownership

  • Own the creation of complex and high-impact visual game-ready assets.
  • Take responsibility for the artistic quality of new features and seasonal content.
  • Provide artistic direction across the Big Brother project for characters, backgrounds, and props.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, consistency, and artistic standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
