Senior Asset Manager – Retail Parks | London | 14-Month FTC

Cobalt are delighted to be partnering with a leading real estate investment and asset management business with a significant UK portfolio and an outstanding reputation for creating and managing high-quality commercial assets. 📍 Location: London
🏢 Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office
📄 Contract: 14-Month Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover
💰 Salary: £90,000 DOE + discretionary bonus + benefits + competitive pension

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of a high-profile retail portfolio. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll be responsible for driving asset performance, implementing business plans and identifying value-enhancing opportunities across the portfolio. This is a broad, strategic role offering exposure to leasing, stakeholder management, development initiatives and long-term asset strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute asset-level business plans
  • Drive leasing strategies and negotiate key commercial agreements
  • Monitor and report on asset performance, identifying opportunities to maximise returns
  • Collaborate with development, leasing, finance, legal and operations teams
  • Build strong relationships with joint venture partners, occupiers and external stakeholders
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve portfolio performance
  • Support valuations, appraisals and investment decisions
  • Mentor junior members of the asset management team

About You

You'll have:

  • Significant experience in Retail Asset Management
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to deliver value-add initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and negotiation abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • MRICS qualification (or equivalent relevant experience)
