About the Company Our client is a fast-growing clean energy and infrastructure company delivering sustainable transport and energy solutions across the UK. With significant investment backing and ambitious expansion plans, the business is developing a nationwide network of critical infrastructure that supports the transition to low-carbon mobility, including public EV charging.
Operating across multiple regions, the organisation is committed to providing reliable, accessible, and high-quality infrastructure that supports communities, businesses, and the UK's net zero ambitions. Customer experience, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance sit at the heart of its growth strategy, alongside continued investment in technology, resilience, and long-term infrastructure development.
Senior Asset Manager Job Profile Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to lead the strategic lifecycle management, performance optimisation, and long-term value of critical infrastructure assets, including a growing portfolio of EV charging infrastructure.
Reporting into the Network Operations function, this role is responsible for developing asset strategies that maximise reliability, availability, utilisation, and return on investment across a nationally distributed infrastructure network. The position focuses on long-term asset stewardship rather than day-to-day operational incident management, using data-driven decision making to improve network performance and support future growth.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the asset management strategy of a rapidly expanding clean energy and infrastructure business.
Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Network Operations, responsibilities include:
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Develop and implement lifecycle strategies across infrastructure assets, including EV charging equipment, electrical infrastructure, communications systems, and associated network assets.
- Define replacement, refurbishment, and end-of-life programmes based on asset performance, risk, and commercial considerations.
- Develop long-term asset roadmaps to support network resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead capital planning activities relating to asset renewal and infrastructure upgrades.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
