Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join our Company Secretarial team. Working closely with colleagues across multiple offices, you will support a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them maintain high standards of corporate governance and meet their statutory and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure clients comply with company law, governance requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Draft corporate documentation, including board minutes, resolutions, and Companies House filings.
- Maintain and update statutory registers and company records.
- Manage company incorporations and support ongoing compliance activities.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, legal advisers, and auditors.
- Contribute to team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Previous experience in a Senior Assistant Company Secretary or similar role.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and company secretarial best practice.
- Knowledge of Companies House filing requirements and statutory compliance.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can build effective relationships and handle confidential information professionally.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience using Diligent Entities or similar company secretarial software is highly desirable.
- A qualification in law, business administration, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
