Senior Associate | Manchester
A highly regarded national law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Corporate Partner or Senior Associate to support the continued growth of its Manchester corporate practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and expanding team undertaking a broad range of corporate transactions for a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses, private equity investors, entrepreneurs, national organisations and international companies.
The Opportunity
Working alongside experienced corporate partners and a well-established local team, you will enjoy significant autonomy to develop your own practice while benefiting from the support, resources and expertise of a successful national corporate group. The role can be tailored to suit your experience, sector specialisms and career ambitions, providing an excellent platform for future progression.
The team advises on a wide range of matters including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate finance transactions
- Private equity and investment work
- Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
- Corporate restructuring and governance
- General company and shareholder advisory matters

Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with at least 6 years' corporate law experience
- Strong technical corporate expertise
- Experience managing transactions with minimal supervision
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Ambition to help grow a successful Manchester practice
- A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork

This opportunity is particularly attractive for Senior Associates or Legal Directors seeking a first Partner appointment, as well as existing Partners looking for a fresh challenge within a supportive and collegiate environment. Importantly, an existing client following is not essential, as there is already an established client base and referral network requiring support.
