We’re seeking a Senior Associate to join our employment law team, a group renowned in the Legal 500 for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will be instrumental in managing employment-related client work from start to finish. Core duties include:
Advisory & Transactional Work
- Providing expert advice on day-to-day HR issues (e.g., disciplinaries, grievances, disputes)
- Supporting ACAS early conciliation, settlements, and employment strategies
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and handbooks
- Advising on complex issues, including TUPE and collective consultation

Contentious Work
- Managing Employment Tribunal cases end-to-end
- Drafting claims, responses, and applications
- Preparing witness statements and evidence
- Briefing Counsel and attending hearings where appropriate
Client & Team Impact
- Delivering training, updates, and thought leadership to clients and colleagues
- Supporting business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
Requirements & Qualifications
We’re looking for a confident, commercially aware employment lawyerwho thrives in dynamic environments with the following attributes:
- Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law
- Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK) with an active practising certificate
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to cultivate trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness with a client-first mindset
- Experience supervising or mentoring others (or readiness to step up)
- Strong organisational skills, capable of prioritising and multi-tasking effectively
