Known for handling high-value, complex disputes, often with a significant international dimension. The team is seeking an experienced solicitor with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience and a strong background in commercial litigation.

The Firm

This long-established and highly regarded litigation boutique is home to a close-knit team of internationally minded lawyers who share a passion for complex disputes. The firm advises clients across a broad range of issues, including:

  • Complex commercial litigation, including cross-border disputes
  • International trade and commercial arbitration
  • Public law matters
  • Sanctions-related disputes

The firm's cases are frequently high-profile, high-value matters that progress to the highest levels of the courts. The team has acted in numerous landmark cases, several of which have featured in The Lawyer's annual "Top 20 Cases" list. The successful Senior Associate will have the opportunity to work on one of the firm's current Top 20 cases.

The Role

Working closely with highly respected litigators, you will play a key role in managing complex disputes for a diverse client base. The role offers exposure to significant international matters and the opportunity to take on substantial responsibility within a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Qualification in England & Wales (preferred)
  • A strong commercial litigation background, ideally with exposure to international or cross-border disputes
  • Strong academic credentials
  • A solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • A genuine interest in working within an internationally focused disputes practice
  • A willingness to contribute to business development initiatives
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers, or an enthusiasm to do so
