Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Lead high-value commercial real estate transactions for an established base of HNW and investor clients
  • Convert existing advisory relationships into sustained legal revenue across the property lifecycle
  • Build and shape the commercial real estate function with autonomy to define direction and growth
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to unlock new opportunities across a wide client network

What you’ll bring

  • c.8-10 years’ PQE in commercial real estate with experience gained at a recognised law firm
  • Strong technical grounding with confidence handling complex transactions
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with high-calibre clients
  • Commercial awareness with an interest in developing a practice or team

Who this suits

You’re a commercially minded real estate lawyer at Senior Associate level who sees beyond the traditional law firm path. You want access to better clients, more meaningful work, and the opportunity to shape something rather than inherit it.

You’re confident in your technical ability and ready to step into a role where you can build credibility, influence client relationships, and grow into a leadership position. Whether you lean more towards technical excellence or business development, you’re motivated by the chance to turn that strength into something bigger over time.
