Position Details
- Job Title: Junior / Senior Associate
- Department: Credit Administration
- Reports To: Deputy Manager, Credit Administration
- Division: Wholesale
Core Role
Responsible for portfolio maintenance of bilateral credit and syndication loans, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, reports, and compliance obligations. Acts as a key liaison between the bank, corporates, agents, and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Back-Office Support
- Handle bilateral credit and syndication loans, including:
- Drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and interest servicing
- cash flow forecasting and reporting to Treasury
- Perform all back-office tasks:
- Maintain loan files and Finacle records (updates, transactions, account statements)
- Conduct account reconciliations with the Accounts Department
- Manage correspondence with branches and participating banks
- Process diasring transactions, follow-ups, and reminders (e.g., interest/instalment payments)
- Ensure timely reminders for due payments

Reports & Compliance
- Prepare periodic reports, returns, and submissions for:
- Head Office
- Regulatory bodies
- Any additional requirements as assigned
- Maintain registers for:
- Loans and Commissions
- Supporting Documents
- Manage bank guarantees processes
Collaborative & Coverage Duties
- Liaise with corporates, partecipating banks, and agent branches for seamless operations
- Cover roles for Associates in the department during absence or workload spikes
- Act as internal point of contact for Syndications, Operations, Treasury, TSD, and Accounts

Key Skills & Qualifications
Technical Competencies
- Working knowledge of:
- Loan administration and advances
- Bank guarantees procedures
- Finacle operations (transaction management, account updates)
- Basic proficiency in:
- Bloomberg / Reuters (financial data tools)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel – advanced), Outlook, PowerPoint
Soft Skills & Attitudes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent -communication skills for liaising with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage deadlines and pressures in a fast-paced bank environment
Note: Flexible support of other credit admin roles as required. Selection heavily based on financial acumen, organisational skills, and customer-facing interaction.
