We are recruiting for a highly exciting and influential role within Stone King’s nationally renowned Education team, offering the opportunity to work on some of the most significant projects affecting the education sector. As a Senior Associate in our Projects team, you will play a leading role in advising a prestigious client base, helping independent schools and educational organisations navigate complex corporate, strategic and transformational projects.

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with commercial awareness, leadership skills and a genuine interest in supporting clients through critical moments of change and growth.

You’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal advice on complex transactions and projects, while helping to develop both client relationships and the next generation of legal talent within the team. Working alongside leading specialists in the education sector, you'll have the opportunity to build your profile, contribute to the firm's continued growth and establish yourself as a trusted adviser to some of the UK's leading educational institutions.

Based in either our Bath or London office, this role offers hybrid working and the chance to join a Tier 1 ranked team recognised by Chambers and Legal 500 for the quality of its work and client service.

  • Develop your expertise within the specialist education sector while applying your corporate and M&A experience.
  • Play a key role in mentoring and developing junior lawyers within a collaborative team environment.
  • Drive business growth through client relationship development, networking and thought leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
