Why join us?

DWF is seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Associate to join our nationally recognised Insurance Fraud team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced and growing practice, working with major insurers and household-name clients on complex, high-value fraud litigation. You will handle a challenging caseload, provide strategic advice on high-profile claims, and play a key role in the continued success of the team.

The role sits within our Liverpool team; however, we are open to candidates based in Liverpool or Manchester, with a hybrid working approach and office attendance typically required once per week.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on complex and high-value fraudulent claims, including motor, EL/PL, staged/contrived accidents, and organised fraud rings.
  • Supervise junior team members and contribute to training and development.
  • Build strong client relationships with major insurers, delivering strategic and technical advice.
  • Play a key role in business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Fraud practice.
  • Engage in litigation strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
