Job Description

This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, delivering compliance and advisory support across international mobility matters.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Management: Own and deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services for global mobility clients.
  • Technical Advisory: Provide practical, commercially focused advice on:
    • International assignments
    • Tax residence determinations
    • Cross-border relocations
    • Remote working policies
    • Business traveller compliance
    • Tax equalisation strategies
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional service.
    • Lead client engagements and projects, meeting budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Business Development: Identify growth opportunities within existing client relationships and support broader initiatives.
  • Team Support:
    • Review junior team work, offering mentorship, technical guidance, and career development.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally (UK and global teams) for seamless client solutions.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay current with UK and international tax legislation, translating updates into actionable client advice.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Practical experience in Global Mobility Tax, Expatriate Tax, or Employment Tax.
    • Strong UK tax knowledge, preferably with international mobility specialisation.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management:
    • Proven ability to manage commercial relationships and align solutions to client needs.
  • Project & Operational Skills:
    • Excellent organisational and project management (balancing priorities/deadlines).
    • Analytical problem-solving applied to complex mobility issues.
  • Development & Collaboration:
    • Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues.
    • Collaborative mindset with a contribution to team and business growth.
  • Technological Interest:
    • Willingness to leverage data and technology to enhance client experiences.
  • Communication:
    • Strong written and verbal skills for internal/external representation.

Qualifications

  • Preferred:
    • ACA, ATT or CTA qualification (or equivalent technical expertise).
    • Significant UK tax experience, either in professional services, industry, or related fields.

Location & Arrangement

This is a hybrid role with flexible office locations in: 📍 London 📍 Reading 📍 Watford 📍 Birmingham 📍 Edinburgh

Note: Remote work may be considered for applicants based outside these hubs in the UK.
