Senior Associate - Intellectual Property

Senior Intellectual Property Lawyer (Associate / Senior Associate)

Manchester | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Bonus

A leading legal and professional services business is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer to join its growing Commercial Services team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied IP caseload while playing a key role in the growth and development of a highly regarded legal practice. The successful candidate will advise a broad client base on complex intellectual property matters, support junior team members, and contribute to the strategic development of the wider commercial offering.

The Opportunity

You will advise clients across a range of sectors on:

  • Intellectual property strategy and protection
  • Licensing and commercialisation agreements
  • Trade mark, copyright, and brand protection matters
  • IP-related disputes and enforcement
  • Commercial contracts with an IP focus
  • Risk management and compliance issues

About You

You will be:

  • A qualified solicitor with strong experience in Intellectual Property law
  • Technically adept across both contentious and non-contentious IP matters
  • Commercially minded, with excellent client relationship skills
  • Comfortable managing complex matters autonomously
  • Interested in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
  • Motivated by working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
