Senior Associate / Legal Director – Construction Disputes | London | Up to £135,000 + Bonus
A highly regarded West End firm's construction disputes practice is looking to appoint a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join a growing team acting on complex, high-value construction and infrastructure disputes.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a team that has deliberately remained lean, giving senior lawyers genuine responsibility, close client contact, and a clear voice in the direction of matters. Rather than being one of many in a large disputes group, you'll play a key role from day one.
The team advises a broad range of developers, contractors, consultants, funders, and public sector organisations on significant construction disputes across a variety of sectors.
The work includes:
- High-value adjudications and complex construction litigation.
- Building Safety Act and fire safety-related disputes.
- Professional negligence claims.
- Defective design and workmanship disputes.
- JCT and NEC contract disputes.
- Strategic risk management and contentious project advice.

About You
We're keen to speak with construction disputes lawyers who can demonstrate:
- Around 6+ PQE, although exceptional candidates outside this range will absolutely be considered.
- E&W, or common law qualification.
- Strong experience across contentious construction matters.
- Adjudication experience together with broader litigation or dispute resolution.
- Exposure to Building Safety Act matters would be advantageous, although not essential if gained through wider construction disputes work.
- Excellent client management and commercial awareness.
- A collaborative approach and ambition to take on greater responsibility.

- Salary up to £135,000 depending on experience.
