We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading law firm based in Northamptonshire, who are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their well-established and highly regarded team in their Kettering office. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional looking to join a thriving team and play a key supporting role within a busy and growing Private Client department.
You will manage a varied and high-quality Private Client caseload including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance Tax Planning
- Trust creation and administration
Alongside managing your own files, you will play an important role in supporting the wider team by:
- Supporting and supervising junior members of the team
- Providing technical guidance to the wider team
- Helping maintain high standards of client care and compliance within the department
- Working closely with the Head of Team to contribute to the continued success and development of the department

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid private client experience (ideally 5+ PQE, although flexibility will be considered)
- Has strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, IHT and trusts
- Is confident supporting and supervising junior colleagues
- Is organised, commercially aware and approachable
- Enjoys building relationships with clients and professional referrers
- Shares our commitment to integrity, professionalism and exceptional client service
- STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential

Salary: £55,000+
