Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor
Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor (4+ Years PQE) – Reading – Up to £65,000 + Benefits
A leading regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Private Wealth team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded practice, advising on complex and high-value matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The firm has built an outstanding reputation across the South East and London, acting for:
- High-net-worth individuals
- Business owners
- Internationally mobile clients
The Private Wealth team advises on sophisticated estate and tax planning matters, including:
- Cross-border structures
- Succession planning
- Wealth preservation strategies
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a complex caseload of private client matters
- Advising on estate and succession planning for high-net-worth individuals
- Providing inheritance tax and wealth preservation advice
- Drafting Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advising on business succession and family wealth planning
- Handling matters involving cross-border estates and international assets
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Supporting business development and profile-raising initiatives
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in Private Client law
- Strong experience across Wills, Trusts, Tax, and Estate Planning matters
- Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to handle complex matters independently
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Experience supervising junior colleagues would be advantageous
- Collaborative team player with strong client relationship skills
