Assistant Manager – Progression Team Location: Birmingham Office (4 days in-office, flexible remote options)

About the Role This critical opportunity supports the Kroll Progression Team, responsible for advancing all case types in collaboration with the Delivery Team. Focuses include timely handling of statutory matters, case progression, and adherence to compliance guidelines. The role offers professional training to uphold technical excellence, alongside full system/process training for the successful candidate. Flexible working (office 4 days/week, with remote options on remaining days) is permitted.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee progression workstreams (e.g., compliance, claims management, stakeholder engagement, regulatory reporting, and guideline adherence), continuously monitoring case objectives; • Liaise with India team to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables; • Manage an allocated portfolio of cases, guaranteeing efficient progression; • Draft and issue correspondence (letters/emails) aligned with firm guidelines, including statutory letters/templates using Internal Document Management Systems; • Generate creditor reports using standard templates while ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy; • Maintain full compliance with internal policies, statutory, and regulatory procedures; • Own professional development to enhance technical knowledge and performance.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, advisory, or restructuring disciplines;
  • Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and critical thinking;
  • Excellent written/oral communication, including confidence in interagating with senior stakeholders;
  • Proven relationship management abilities supporting collaborative environments;
  • Adaptability for high-pressure, multi-priority scenarios (e.g., fast-paced technical roles);
  • Proficiency in MS [Word/Excel/PowerPoint] with advanced analytical/presentational capabilities;
  • Strong commitment to integrity and accountability in delivering quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Professional Inspector (CPI) certification.
