This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to support to the Kroll Progression Team based in our Birmingham office. The Team is primarily responsible for the progression of all case types, working closely with the firms’ Delivery Team to ensure that all statutory matters are dealt with in a timely manner and the case is progressed to closure.
Due to the technical nature of this team, professional training opportunities are available to successful candidates to maintain the high technical standards. Full training will be available to the successful candidate on how to use Kroll’s systems and processes. Kroll offers a flexible working policy with staff required to attend the office 4 days a week with the ability to work from home on the other days.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage key progression workstreams, including (but not limited to) compliance, claims management, stakeholder engagement, regulatory reporting, and adherence to applicable guidelines, while continuously reviewing and monitoring case objectives; Liaise with and oversee deliverables from the India team, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of outputs; Take ownership of an allocated portfolio of cases, ensuring effective and efficient case progression; Draft and issue standard correspondence, including letters and emails, in line with firm guidelines; Prepare and merge statutory letters and notices using internal document management systems. Draft creditor reports using appropriate standard templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements; Ensure full compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and regulatory procedures across all cases; Take responsibility for ongoing professional development to enhance technical knowledge and performance. Adhere to Kroll’s policies, procedures, and professional standards at all times.

Requirements
Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, advisory, or restructuring for a minimum of 2 years. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Highly analytical mindset with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence in presenting insights and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders. Relationship Management: Proven ability to build, manage, and develop strong professional relationships, contributing to inclusive and collaborative team environments. Adaptability & Resilience: Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Quick to adapt and learn new industries or technical areas. Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to leverage these tools for analysis and presentation. Professionalism & Integrity: Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality results with integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of accountability.
