Senior Chartered Town Planner - Leadership Opportunity
Chartered Town Planner with a proven track record, join our London (or potentially Bristol) Studio to lead large-scale development proposals and guide our Town Planning team within the Senior Leadership Team.
The Opportunity
This is an integral leadership role contributing to the strategic objectives of the team. You will:
- Manage and enhance team members’ pastoral care and personal development
- Contribute to winning work strategy, creativity, and innovation
- Lead multi-disciplinary studios alongside Architects, Urban Designers, and Landscape Architects
- Work across key development sectors, acting as a trusted advisor to clients with a proactive approach
You will be responsible for:
- Leading major/complex projects involving multi-disciplinary teams
- Providing strategic advice to public/private sector clients
- Supporting team growth/development, including partnering in recruitment strategies

Requirements
Professional Body
- Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI)
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience
Expertise
- Development management and/or strategic planning exposure
- Experience in people/team management and performance
Sector Knowledge
- Broad planning sector expertise preferred, especially:
- Education (schools, higher/further education)
- Healthcare
- Institutional
- Mixed-Use / Urban Regeneration
- Tech & Innovation
