Senior Associate - W&I Claims
Senior Associate – Warranties & Indemnities (Insurance)
Simmons & Hanbury are collaborating with a top-tier international law firm to recruit a Senior Associate for their Warranties & Indemnities (W&I) team based in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise insurer and reinsurer clients on coverage disputes and matters within financial lines and political risk insurance.
- Lead the handling of complex W&I insurance claims, including:
- Policy interpretation
- Coverage assessments
- Litigation and arbitration strategy development
- Manage high-value, multi-jurisdictional insurance disputes spanning casualty and financial lines.

- At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in:
- Insurance disputes
- Financial lines insurance claims
- Warranties and indemnities (W&I) coverage matters
- Strong background in W&I insurance claims, dispute resolution, and litigation.
- Exposure to political risk, financial lines, or casualty insurance (preferred).
- Exceptional legal analysis, drafting, and litigation skills.
