Audit Senior Manager

Rutherford Briant are recruiting for an Audit Senior Manager to join a highly regarded and growing firm in Bristol.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced audit professional who is looking for a more progressive role, with genuine responsibility, client contact and long-term career potential.

The firm has a well-established audit team and works with a broad mix of clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, not-for-profit organisations and businesses with more complex reporting requirements. The role would suit someone who enjoys building client relationships, leading audit assignments and supporting the development of others.

As Audit Senior Manager, you will be responsible for planning and leading audit assignments, acting as a key point of contact for clients and working closely with Partners to deliver a high-quality audit service. You will also play an important role in coaching and developing junior members of the team, reviewing work and helping to maintain strong standards across the audit process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
