We are looking for a part-qualified or qualified accountant who enjoys audit to join our ambitious and friendly audit department. Your primary role will be assisting with the planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit assignments.
The Role:
- You will lead audit teams, both on site and off site, and also help to coach and support new members of our team, supervising and reviewing their work
- The role requires regular liaison with clients across a diverse portfolio of industries
- You will produce detailed audit planning documents to be agreed with managers and partners. As jobs progress, you will monitor and report and highlight any concerns ensuring the audit is completed within agreed budget and timescales
- You will be expected to maintain a high level of audit knowledge and be conscious of any emerging issues - attending relevant training/development opportunities to support your ongoing development.

This is a role for an ambitious candidate who is part-qualified or qualified (ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent).
Other skills and experience required include:
- Experience leading audits from planning to completion
- Experience of using Microsoft Office Excel and Word and audit software (MyWorkpapers)
- Strong accounts preparation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients and your own team
- Strong organisational skills to prioritise and manage high volumes of work and multiple stakeholders
- Passionate about passing on knowledge experience and leading junior team members
- As you will be visiting clients within the surrounding areas a full driving licence is desirable.
