Senior Auditor – Christchurch
The Opportunity
As a Senior Auditor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit engagements across a wide range of clients, including not-for-profits, schools, private enterprises, and local governing bodies.
You’ll be a trusted point of contact for clients and a mentor for junior team members, working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver practical, value-adding outcomes.
This role is well suited to someone looking to continue progressing their career while strengthening their leadership capability and client ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Supervise, review, and coach junior team members, providing guidance and feedback
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with a diverse client base
- Identify and communicate audit issues clearly and pragmatically
- Ensure audit work is delivered to a high technical and professional standard
- Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and team capabilities

About You
You will likely bring:
- CA qualification (or international equivalent)
- 3+ years’ solid external audit experience
- Experience leading audits and supervising audit teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
- The ability to balance technical excellence with practical client outcomes
