Owen Daniels are supporting a well-established and highly respected electrical engineering business delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join their team in Wrexham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HV professional seeking a long-term career with a company that values technical expertise, safety, and professional development.
Working across a range of industrial, utilities, and infrastructure environments, you'll be responsible for the safe operation of High Voltage electrical systems, carrying out switching activities, issuing safety documentation, and supporting maintenance, commissioning, and project delivery.

- Carry out High Voltage switching operations in accordance with company safety rules.
- Issue and manage safety documentation, including permits and sanctions for work.
- Plan and coordinate outages and maintenance activities.
- Support the commissioning, testing, and energisation of HV electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and site teams.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Current or previous Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation.
- Strong experience working on High Voltage electrical networks.
- Knowledge of switching procedures, isolation, and safe systems of work.
- Experience within utilities, industrial, manufacturing, power generation, or electrical engineering environments.
- A proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
