400kV Senior Authorised Person - 12-Month Contract - Monday-Friday - Outside IR35
Day Rate outside IR35
I'm currently supporting a leading organisation within the UK transmission sector that is looking for an experienced 400kV Senior Authorised Person on an initial 12-month contract.
The Role:
- Preparing, issuing and cancelling Safety Documents & permits.
- Undertaking Senior Authorised Person duties.
- Acting as Control Person.
- Writing, reviewing and approving RAMS.
- Setting staff and contractors to work safely.
- Training and mentoring new members of the team.
- Supporting a planned out of hours on call rota.
- Providing SAP support across multiple high voltage sites when required.
- Assisting with the development and continual improvement of isolation procedures and operational standards.

Requirements:
- Current or recent 400kV Senior Authorised Person authorisation.
- Strong operational experience within the UK transmission network.
- Excellent knowledge of HV safety rules and switching procedures.
- Experience reviewing and approving RAMS.
- A proactive approach with the ability to lead teams and maintain the highest safety standards.
