About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Tester with strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks, API testing, cloud CI/CD pipelines, and database validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable automation solutions and working within Agile delivery environments.
This role requires strong technical expertise in Selenium, Rest Assured, Azure Cloud CI/CD, and database testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured.
- Work with Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployment integration.
- Validate backend systems and perform database testing and SQL validations.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Ensure automation best practices, framework scalability, and code quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

- 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium automation
- Expertise in API Testing using Rest Assured.
- Experience working with Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines is plus and any other cloud is fine
- Strong knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
- Good understanding of automation framework design and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
