Role Details

We are seeking a Lead AV Field Engineer for a premier organisation that handles high-profile projects for elite clients. This isn't your typical installation role; you will be the technical lead on bespoke, luxury projects that require both world-class technical expertise and white-glove service.

If you are tired of the same four walls and want to work with the industry’s most advanced systems in some of the most exclusive venues globally, this is your next career step.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of integrated AV systems, feature lighting, access control, and network/telecom infrastructure.
  • Ensure precise completion of commissioning checklists, redline markups, and final AV asset inventories post-installation, alongside detailed field service reporting for maintenance calls.
  • Act as a technical point of contact, building rapport with stakeholders and clients to ensure systems meet operational requirements and deliver a high-quality end-user experience.
  • Provide regular, accurate updates on project progress, technical roadblocks, and site status to project managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive quality control and best practices across all installations, ensuring systems are deployed to industry standards (AVIXA/CTS standards).
  • Actively participate in ongoing technical training, manufacturer certifications, and site safety protocols.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
