Senior Azure AI Engineer

£80,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits Package | UK | Remote / Hybrid

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Azure AI Engineer to play a pivotal role in building our clients' production-grade agentic AI capability for regulated financial advice. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on designing, deploying, and scaling AI solutions that are secure, governed, and ready for real-world use.

Working at the intersection of Azure AI Foundry, cloud engineering, AI governance, and financial services, you will help define the engineering standards, architecture, and delivery patterns that underpin this significant transformation program. You'll collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions that are reliable, explainable, and fully aligned with financial services regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade agentic AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry
  • Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, observability, and governance
  • Build AI-enabled solutions supporting regulated advice workflows, including fact-find automation, suitability reporting, and adviser review journeys
  • Implement human-in-the-loop review processes to ensure AI outputs are auditable, explainable, and compliant
  • Create evaluation frameworks covering testing, grounding, telemetry, monitoring, cost, latency, and performance
  • Develop secure integrations across Azure AI Foundry, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and third-party financial platforms
  • Build APIs, agent logic, and data pipelines using Python and/or C#
  • Develop user-facing components in React or Power Apps to support AI-assisted workflows
  • Apply Azure best practices across security, identity, CI/CD, infrastructure, and cloud operations
  • Embed governance, audit, versioning, and responsible AI controls throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Produce technical documentation, architecture designs, and governance artefacts suitable for regulatory review
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, transformation, compliance, and operational teams to deliver AI capabilities into production
  • Provide technical leadership, helping define engineering standards and best practices for future AI delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
