Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
The Opportunity We are currently partnering with several leading technology consultancies and enterprise organisations who are seeking highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineers to join their dynamic infrastructure teams. These roles offer the chance to work on large-scale, complex cloud environments where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable architecture that drives business success.
The Role In this position, you will be responsible for architecting high-availability Azure solutions while modernising infrastructure through advanced automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment pipelines, implement comprehensive security and monitoring frameworks, and provide technical leadership to support the successful delivery of cloud-native initiatives.

What We're Looking For Extensive hands-on experience designing and managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Solid understanding of containerisation technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps. Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, including RBAC, identity management, and secret management. Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and configuration tasks. Proven ability to optimise cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
