The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a major cloud transformation programme, taking ownership of Infrastructure as Code delivery and the implementation of a modern Azure landing zone.

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll lead infrastructure delivery, shape technical design, and work closely with engineering and security teams to build a scalable, secure Azure platform. You'll be responsible for driving the day-to-day technical direction while collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver a modern cloud-native environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Build and implement a secure Azure Landing Zone.
  • Design and deploy Azure networking including hub-and-spoke architecture, NSGs, routing, private DNS, Key Vault and Entra ID/RBAC.
  • Define and maintain Terraform module and repository standards.
  • Drive technical discussions, low-level design (LLD) and infrastructure best practices.
  • Prioritise technical backlogs and work closely with engineering teams to deliver key milestones.
  • Build Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Develop multi-tenant Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
  • Support GitOps and service mesh implementations alongside internal specialists.
  • Evaluate infrastructure technologies and provide technical recommendations.
  • Produce architecture decision records (ADRs) and technical documentation.
  • Mentor engineers and promote DevOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices across the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
