Senior B2B Marketing Manager
Albrighton, Shropshire, West Midlands
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 dependent upon experience
Hybrid (3–4 days on site)
At David Austin Roses, we've spent more than 60 years creating the world's most beautiful roses. Today, our brand is trusted by gardeners, garden centers, and professional partners around the globe.
We're looking for a Senior B2B Marketing Manager to help grow our trade business while ensuring every customer touchpoint reflects the quality and heritage of the David Austin name.
This is a rare opportunity to join a premium, family-owned brand where you'll work across Wholesale, International Partners, and Pro Trade, creating marketing that helps our sales teams succeed and strengthens our presence in garden centers and international markets.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Significant experience in B2B/trade marketing within a premium or lifestyle brand (5+ years with real depth in B2B and trade)
- A track record of supporting sales through toolkits, point-of-sale, launch packs, and retail materials that help a variety or collection sell
- A feel for visual merchandising and how a brand shows up in store, with the experience to help us develop this in garden centers
- The ability to speak to trade and consumer audiences with equal ease, translating what makes a rose good into messaging that lands with buyers and gardeners alike
- Genuinely strong organization and project management skills, able to prioritize across competing demands, work to deadlines, and keep several projects, markets, and stakeholders on track at once, including the agencies and suppliers who deliver alongside you
- A collaborative, straight-talking way of working with no ego to speak of, communicating clearly and proactively so colleagues and Business Leaders are always kept informed
- Commercial instinct and a strategic eye, able to see where we are, spot the gaps, and bring forward ideas worth backing, and comfortable building where there is not yet a settled playbook rather than waiting for the path to be clear
- Passionate about brand consistency and exceptional execution
- Thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
