About Ignite Hubs

Ignite Hubs is an award-winning education charity inspiring the next generation of STEM trailblazers, creative thinkers and digital innovators. We work particularly with girls and young people from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds, helping to widen access to technology, STEM and creative careers.

Since launching in 2019, we have supported more than 2,000 children and young people and currently deliver learning to over 200 students each week through our online and in-person programmes.

We are now entering an exciting phase of digital transformation, developing the ‘Ignite Learning & Careers Hub’, our innovative, AI-powered platform that helps children and young people discover careers, develop future-ready skills, and access personalised learning opportunities.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Developer to help deliver the next phase of the Ignite Learning & Careers Hub.

Working alongside our founder and Product Development team, you will deliver two key Statements of Work that form the platform's secure technical foundation. The two Statements of Work cover:

Statement of Work 1 - Secure Accounts & Safe Registration

  • Secure authentication using Supabase Auth
  • Family-linked parent and learner accounts
  • Secure registration and consent management
  • Role-based access control
  • Row Level Security (RLS)
  • GDPR-compliant data management

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
