Senior Backend Engineer (C# /.NET)

3 Month Contract

£500 PER DAY (Outside IR35)

Predominately Remote (However may be needed to meet the team on specific occasions)

Core language & framework

  • C# (7+ years for seniors)
  • .NET Core /.NET
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web API
  • Strong understanding of dependency injection, middleware, filters, async/await, LINQ, Entity Framework

  • Building REST APIs at scale
  • Experience with payment flows (ideal: Adyen, Stripe, Worldpay, Checkout.com)
  • Experience with webhooks, event-driven patterns, idempotency, retry logic
  • Strong understanding of error frameworks and ProblemDetails patterns

  • SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with schema evolution, migrations, optimised queries, transaction handling

  • Azure experience strongly preferred
