Backend Engineer — Join Tabeo’s Mission to Define Primary Care Finance

Our mission is to become the financial and revenue operating system for primary care practices.

We help dental and veterinary clinics manage funds—from patient access, to payments, memberships, financing, insurance, and reporting—in a unified system.

Unlike isolated tools, we integrate these processes into a single layer that mirrors how practices truly operate.

Three Critical Shifts Transforming Primary Care

  • Patient access evolve beyond staffed hours, with clinics now leveraging voice interfaces and chat as new entry points to care.
  • Revenue moves from ad-hoc to structured, relying on memberships, financing, and insurance for smoother cash flow and expanded access—particularly amid NHS pressures and private care growth.
  • Dental and veterinary practices demand financial clarity, not just another software layer, to assess pricing, plans, and utilisation efficiency.

Today, we empower 6,000+ dental practices across the UK—acquiring 100 new adopters monthly. Tabeo dominates patient finance and is advancing membership revolution while launching a groundbreaking AI-driven voice/chat solution.

By 2028, we target £25 million ARR, accelerating our growth at 50–60% annually. While fully remote-first, teams unite twice yearly (past gathering destinations: Dubai, Lisbon, London, Athens). The next escape? A surprise!

The Backend Engineer Opportunity

We seek an experienced Go backend engineer to drive technical innovation across multiple revenue streams, including:

  • Web-led product scale: Leading engineering work on our growing [Plans] product suite.
  • AI Revolution: Shaping our new AI Revenue Engine, integrating AI-driven voice, WhatsApp, email, and chat across the platform.
  • Expansion Strategy: Enabling conversion, pricing, and CS tools for veterinary and hearing-specialist practices amid global outreach (e.g., Germany).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
