Senior Software Engineer - Remote (UK) - £85k-90k
We are supporting a rapidly scaling AI driven fintech organisation in their search for a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen their UK based engineering function. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to real world AI enabled products that are reshaping operational processes across financial services.
What you'll be doing:
- Architect and deliver scalable, event based backend services and APIs
- Build high quality, user focused interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Partner with product leaders and AI specialists to translate concepts into stable, deployable solutions
- Contribute to system reliability, performance optimisation and engineering best practice

Tech Stack:
- Back end: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS
- Front end: React and modern front end tooling
- Cloud: AWS including Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB and RDS
- Architecture: Microservices and event driven systems
What they're looking for:
- 6+ years commercial experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong experience building interactive front end applications
- Proven track record delivering cloud based systems within AWS environments
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable, service led architectures
- Genuine interest in AI driven software products
