Feeld is an independent, fully remote company dedicated to building an inclusive dating and relationships app that prioritizes open-minded connection, sexuality, and community safety. As a Senior Backend Monetization Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and operating the systems that drive our revenue-generating experiences, ensuring our monetization flows are robust, compliant, and scalable.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing, building, and operating scalable and secure backend systems that power revenue-generating experiences Owning the health, reliability, and performance of the monetization funnel Designing and maintaining backend integrations for subscriptions, billing, entitlements, pricing logic, and promotions Ensuring correctness and compliance of monetization flows while minimizing revenue-impacting incidents and improving detection/resolution Enabling experimentation through feature flags, testing, and analytics instrumentation Partnering with the Data team to build and maintain analytics and reporting for revenue performance, user behavior, and system health

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Extensive professional backend development experience Experience building and maintaining backend services for payments, subscriptions, or other financial/monetization systems in production Experience designing and maintaining backend integrations for subscriptions, billing, entitlements, pricing logic, or promotions Production experience with Node.js and TypeScript Production experience with DynamoDB Experience with at least one of: Adapty, Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple App Store in-app purchase APIs, or Google Play in-app purchase APIs Located within GMT ± 3 hours (or able to reliably work with that time-zone overlap)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating high-throughput, business-critical backend systems in production Experience enabling experimentation using feature flags and A/B testing Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical cross-functional partners

The company was founded in 2014 and has evolved since to become the open, distributed structure it is now. We have a naturally agile and fluid culture. Our interview process:
Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you'll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you're seeking Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you're applying to. Here, you'll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you'll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences The next step for most of our roles is a technical assessment. We'll discuss systems you've worked on, challenges you've faced, interesting problems you've solved and the approaches you took Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you'll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability
