Salary package - c.72.5K + Car Allowance + Bonus (c20%)
Location - C. London, 2 days PW

They are a high growth (over 50% last year) player in the UK's health sector, and are seeking a talented SNAM or NAM to drive profitable growth across their accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a branded business and make a significant impact.

Position Overview

As a Senior National Account Manager on Tesco, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and delivering profitable commercial business plans for accounts. Working closely with the customer and internal teams, you will develop and execute strategies across branded and own-label products to achieve targeted KPIs. This role is integral to the commercial team's success.

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan and deliver profitable commercial business plans for accounts
  • Manage accurate forecasting and delivery of channel and customer plans to meet budget KPIs
  • Develop, coach and manage a National Account Executive, ensuring effective account management
  • Utilise individual and collective skills to benefit the business with customers
  • Lead key projects with the customer, developing strategy & relationships to drive sales and listings
  • Plan, execute, monitor and review category and channel initiatives across distribution, display, NPD, promotions, and pricing
  • Communicate customer category perspectives internally, working towards multi-functional solutions
  • Manage timely and accurate promotion processes, ensuring meaningful output from reviews
  • Monitor and regularly review planned and actual trade spend with key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute a clear customer contact strategy and effective joint business plans

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of full P&L responsibility, with experience working with at least one top 4 UK retailers, ideally Tesco
  • Highly self-motivated and results-focused, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Highly developed sales, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of category management principles and collaborative working
  • Excellent organisational and accuracy skills
  • Previous experience managing and developing direct reports is a significant advantage
