Senior Banking Associate - Infrastructure & Project Finance

London | 5-7 PQE

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Banking Associate (5-7 PQE) to join its highly regarded Infrastructure and Project Finance practice in London.

This is an opportunity to join a market-leading team advising on some of the most significant infrastructure and project finance transactions across the UK and internationally. The practice acts for a broad range of sponsors, lenders, institutional investors, infrastructure funds, development finance institutions and government bodies on complex, cross-border financings across a variety of sectors.

The Role

You will work on a diverse range of financing transactions throughout the full lifecycle of infrastructure and energy assets, including:

  • Project finance
  • Acquisition finance
  • Infrastructure finance
  • Fund finance
  • Refinancings and restructurings
  • Public-private partnership (PPP) transactions
  • Portfolio financings

The team advises across a broad range of sectors, including renewable energy, power, utilities, transport, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, healthcare and natural resources, offering exposure to both established and emerging markets.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of transactions, work directly with clients and collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on sophisticated, cross-border matters.

Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from lawyers who can demonstrate:

  • Approximately 5–7 years' PQE (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience in infrastructure finance, project finance or a combination of both.
  • Experience gained at a leading City, international or US law firm.
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to manage workstreams and build strong client relationships.
