About the Role
The Opportunity
This role sits right at the heart of our modelling expertise and customer relationships. As batteries evolve in complexity, we’re looking for someone who can bridge the built-in physics and deep technical learning with the ability to communicate effectively to customers.
You’ll be the key translator—turning intricate battery modelling into clear, trust-building guidance that drives commercial outcomes. Ownership of technical conversations with customers (engineers, VPs, and programme managers) and internal teams (embedded systems, modelling engineering) will be critical to steering our roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Daily & Strategic

Customer-facing technical ambassador:
- Primary interface for key client relationships, interpreting our modelling outputs into actionable guidance.
- Host technical sessions (discussing model outputs, uncertainties, and strategic implications).
- Create high-quality technical presentations for senior stakeholders.

Campaign leadership:
- Design test protocols, evaluate data against models, and present insights clearly.
- Identify misalignments between expectations and technical capabilities, collaborating with internal teams to propose solutions.

Workforce empowerer:
- Build internal documentation, guides, and workflows to drive seamless customer onboarding, model calibration, and performance reporting.
- Ensure our software’s value proposition is crystal clear to Tier 1 OEMs.
What You’ll Bring
Technical Expertise
- Direct experience in battery engineering, electrochemical modelling, or equivalent fields.
- Strong foundational knowledge of battery physics, degradation mechanisms, and model assumptions.
- Proven ability to communicate complex subjects to mixed audiences—technical teams and non-specialists.
- Proficiency in Python or MATLAB/Simulink is a welcome advantage.
